Erectile dysfunction medications seized in Glengormley

Large quantities of unlicensed medications have been taken by Department of Health authorities during a search of a home in Glengormley.
A male was spoken with by department officers about illegally importing and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medicines through the web.
The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medicine offenses.
He will now be the subject of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was out by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement workplace, Peter Moore, said: "It is vital that we get the message across that unlicensed medications can be unsafe.
"These types of products being offered, normally online, have actually undergone no quality control and there can be no assurance about their safety.
"You just do not know what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More importantly, you do not understand the effect drugs like this might have on your health."
