The Middle East is an area where is king and fuel is cheap, typically leaving little incentive to find more environmentally-friendly methods of moving.
But this year, as demonstrations across the Middle East have actually risen the cost of oil, the problem of discovering alternative sources of fuel has come into sharp focus.
In an area that has one of the greatest carbon footprints worldwide, one service is making the most of the growing pressure to find alternatives to oil. It's set up the Middle East's first plan to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's proving successful too, already their client-list contains McDonald's.
